Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has asked the Awami League leaders and workers to work in order to fulfill people's expectations by keeping up their confidence and trust in the party.
Sheikh Hasina, also the Awami League president, said this while delivering her introductory speech at a Central Working Committee meeting of the Awami League at the Ganabhaban yesterday evening.
“Awami League has been able to earn people's confidence and trust as people know that their fate has changed since the party came to power,” she said.
The premier added that the grassroots leaders and workers would have to work sincerely. “I believe that is the only way we can reach our desired goal, and build Sonar Bangla as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman."
Sheikh Hasina also directed the party leaders and workers to play a more responsible role towards the nation.
