Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina will hold dialogues with the Ganatantrik Bam Oikya and Bangladesh National Awami Party (NAP-Bhashani) over the upcoming general election on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday invited Ganatantrik Bam Oikyaand NAP-Bhashani to join the talks at Ganabhaban, in response to a letter sent by the respective parties seeking talks over the upcoming polls.
Ganatantrik Bam Oikya’s Coordinator Dr MA Samad and NAP-Bhashani Chairman MA Bhashani received the invitation letter from the Awami League office secretary and prime minister’s Special Assistant Abdus Sobhan Golap on Sunday.
The dialogue is scheduled to be held around 7pm on Wednesday at Ganabhaban, the official residence of the prime minister, in the capital.
The prime minister has recentlyheld many talks with political parties ahead of the election. On Thursday she had talks with Jaitya Oikya Front; Jukta Front on Friday; 14-party alliance on Sunday; and Jatiya Party on Monday.
They will hold talks with Left Democratic Alliance and Islami Oikya Jote on Tuesday.
