Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) Mayor AHM Khairuzzman Liton says he has become annoyed for anti-organisational and undesirable activities of the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL).
He came up with the comment while speaking at a cultural function titled ‘Bangabandhu and Bangladesh’ at the Shaheed Sukhoranjan Samaddar auditorium at the Rajshahi University (RU) on Monday morning as chief guest.
Among others, RU Vice-Chancellor Abdus Sobhan, Pro-vice Chancellor Ananda Kumar Saha, Prof Chowdhury Mohammad Zakaria and Prof Hasibul Prodhan spoke the function with Art Department Dean Siddhartha Shankar Roy in the chair.
Khairuzzman urged the leaders and activists of the BCL to regain its past glory.
He suggested that they protest militancy in the country and make people conscious and aware of the situation.
