AL asks Sunamganj-2 by-polls aspirants to submit applications

Ruling Awami League has asked nomination seekers of the Sunamganj-2 constituency (Dirai-Shalla) by-election to submit their applications with the party office by 5pm on February 27. Aspirants can collect the application from the party president's Dhanmondi office from February 24 to 26 between 9am-5pm everyday by submitting a Tk25,000 fee, stated a press release. The constituency seat fell vacant when veteran politician Suranjit Sengupta passed away on February 5, this year. The party also advised candidates taking part in the Comilla City Corporation election to collect their forms from the party office in the same time period.
