BNP chief Khaleda Zia called party's standing committee meeting today at her Gulshan office to take important decisions on party's March 19 national council.
Khaleda’s press wing official Syrul Kabir Khan said the meeting will take place at 8:30pm.
“The chairperson called the meeting to decide on some important issues of the council,” he said.
Khaleda is scheduled to inaugurate the council at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh.
Party sources said the meeting could discuss job responsibility of Senior Vice-Chairman Tarique Rahman, increase in the number of posts of joint secretary generals, organising secretaries and formation of party's advisory committee.
