The ruling Awami League has published the list of the party nominated 739 chairman candidates for the first phase of the Union Parishad (UP) elections scheduled to be held on March 22.
The party Office Secretary Abdus Sobhan Golap has sent the list to media on Friday night.
Earlier, the Awami League's election nomination board has finalised nominations of the candidates at two-day meeting on February 16 and 17 chaired by Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence Gonobhaban.
Awami League also confirmed 10 municipality candidates for the re-elections of the 10 municipalities scheduled for March 20, he added.
