Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal announced its new Dhaka University unit committee last night, naming Al Mahadee Talukder as president and Bashar Siddique as general secretary.
Chhatra Dal President Rajib Ahsan and General Secretary Akramul Hasan approved the new committee, said the organisation’s Office Secretary Abdus Sattar Patwary.
The new committees of Chhatra Dal’s Dhaka University, Jagannath University, Dhaka city (north), Dhaka city (south), Dhaka city (east) and Dhaka city (west) units were announced along with the 736-member full-fledged central committee, he added.
Maidul Hasan Hiru and Masud Parvez were the president and general secretary of the previous committee of Chhatra Dal’s Dhaka University unit respectively.
