The Awami League government will reach electricity to each and every house of the country by 2021, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said.
The premier was addressing a mass rally of Sylhet district Awami League on Tuesday afternoon.
There is no room for terrorists in Bangladesh, she reiterated.
Nobody will be spared who have burnt people in the name of movement, she warned.
The Awami League government will set up a medical university in Sylhet in future, the PM said.
No educated person will be unemployed in the country, she also said.
Earlier, Hasina had arrived Sylhet at 11:55am on a daylong visit to join the platinum jubilee celebration of Madan Mohan College.
She inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of 21 development schemes.
A six-tier security measure has been taken following the prime minister's visit.
