Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has slammed Khaleda Zia for raising question on the figure of 1971 Liberation War martyrs.
She made the remarks while addressing a rally organised by the ruling party in the capital's Suhrawardy Udyan on Monday afternoon.
The rally was organised to mark the Home Coming Day of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on January 10.

Sheikh Hasina said: "Khaleda Zia speaks in the tone of Pakistani citizens. How dare she questions the martyrs' figure.
“She considers it right what the Pakistanis say but takes the people of the country as wrong."
On December 21, Khaleda expressed doubt about the number of people who sacrificed their lives during the Liberation War in 1971, claiming the figure is disputed.
Hasina said the independence of the Bangladesh was accomplished when Bangabandhu returned to the country.
Expressing respects to Bangabandhu and four national leaders, Hasina said the only dream of Bangabandhu was to build a poverty-free country.
She said Bangladesh is the only country where the allied force left the country after the independence.
"No other country in the world has the example," she added.
On January 10 in 1972, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman returned to independent Bangladesh after nine and a half month's of captivity in a Pakistan jail.
Since then, the nation is observing the day as the Homecoming Day of Bangabandhu.
