A monarchy has been established in Bangladesh and a "lady Hitler" is ruling the country, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has alleged.
She, in a meting held on Sunday in London, claimed that people of Bangladesh are in distress as there's no rule of law in the country right now.
“What's happening in Bangladesh now,” Khaleda asked the audience. Replying to her own question, the ex-premier said, “You said 'wrong-headed'. I had said this earlier, will tell again, a monarchy has been established in Bangladesh.”
"And there's a lady Hitler [who is running the monarchy].”
The administration is following her words accordingly, she also alleged.
The BNP leader urged all to be united against the misrule of the government.
Khaleda has been staying in London for one and half months.
During staying in the United Kingdom, Khaleda appeared first time in a meeting held on November 1.
Khaleda’s elder son and also BNP’s Senior Vice Chairman Tarique Rahman, and her wife Zubaida Rahman attended the meeting, among other party leaders of UK Chapter. The speech of Khaleda is available on YouTube.
