The BNP yesterday demanded cancellation of the medical admission test results, published yesterday, alleging that the test had been leaked.
“The questions were leaked. This test was a sham. So, the results published today must be cancelled,” said BNP spokesperson Asaduzzaman Ripon at a press briefing at the party’s Nayapaltan headquarters in the capital.
He also asked the government to set fresh entrance test after putting stern measures in place to prevent question leak.
Claiming that the students’ demonstration on question leak is justified, Ripon said: “The government denies that questions were leaked. Why did the Rapid Action Battalion arrested an assistant director of the University Grants Commission as well as a few others on charge of question leak?”
Ripon alleged that the leaked questions were available on social media the night before the test.
“Those involved can be found by tracking their Facebook IDs, but the government did not do that and just published the results.”
He further said: “We have seen that the BCS test results were cancelled for similar reasons, so if the government cancels the medical entrance test result, it would not cause a major loss.”
