The two-day 28th conference of National Central Committee of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) will begin at the historic Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka on Saturday.
Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina will be present as the chief guest at the inaugural session of the conference while Sajeeb Wazed joy, ICT adviser to the prime minister will be present as a special guest.
BCL President HM Badiuzzaman Shohag will preside over the programme, reports BSS.
On the second day, the council session of the programme will start at 10am where new BCL president and general secretary will be elected.
All kinds of preparations have already been taken for the programme, said convener of the Conference Preparatory Committee Jaydeb Nandi.
He also said: "We have also preparations to use the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) auditorium as an alternative venue in case of inclement weather."
