The High Court rejected the bail petitions of BNP leader Mirza Abbas in two vandalism and arson cases yesterday.
The bench of Justice Md Ruhul Quddus passed the orders after hearing the two petitions.
Deputy Attorney General Bashir Ullah told reporters that police now can arrest Abbas anytime in connection with the cases.
The cases were filed with Paltan police station on December 29 last year and Motijheel police station on January 4 this year.
