Renowned film actor and comedian Tele Samad has been laid to rest beside his parents at his village home in Noyagaon, Munshiganj.
His burial was over on Sunday around 5:40pm, following his fifth and last namaz-e-janaza at the Dr Iajuddin Ahmed Residential Model School and College.

Deputy Commissioner Sayla Farzana, Munshiganj Awami League President Mohammad Mohiuddin, Principal of Dr Iajuddin Ahmed Residential Model School and College, Major Md Sharifuzzaman, Munshiganj Press Club President Rasel Mahmud, and others came to pay their last respects.
Tele Samad was born in Munshiganj on January 8, 1945. In his remarkable career spanning more than four decades, the actor performed in over 600 films. He made his debut in 1973 with the movie, “Kar Bou.” The last movie he acted in, “Zero Degree,” was released in 2015.
