Journalist Kazi Siraj and Sanjib Chowdhury pass away

Two eminent journalists in the country have passed away in last 24 hours.
Journalist and columnist Kazi Siraj, 70 died of cardiac failure around 10pm on Thursday while journalist Sanjib Chowdhury breathed his last a few hours earlier.
Kazi Siraj, who was a cousin of late Jatiya Party leader and former Prime Minister Kazi Zafar Ahmed, served as the editor of Bangla Daily Dainik Dinkal. He was the founding convener of Swechha Sebok Dal and former leader of Chhatra Union.
Former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, leaders of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) and Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) expressed deep shock at the death of the senior journalist expressed deep shock at the death of Kazi Shiraj.
