3 Myanmar nationals held with 362,000 yaba tablets

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel arrested three Myanmar nationals from Teknaf border area of Cox's Bazar on Monday with 362,000 yaba tablets.
The arrested are Abu Fayaz, 40, son of Yunus Ali, Mohammad Shafiq, 20, son of Abdur Rashid, and Rafiq, 25, son of Fayjal Ahmed.
BGB Teknaf-2 Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel SM Ariful Islam said that on a tip-off the BGB personnel took position in the Mochni area of Netongpara union in Teknaf.
Meanwhile, law enforcers signaled the engine-run boat to stop moving.
Later, they arrested the three smugglers with the drugs, which are worth about Tk10 crore, and seized the boat.
