BSF guns down Bangladeshi in Dahagram

Deceased Hajrat Ali, 35, was a son of Amir Hossain of Bangerbari area in Dahagram union, according to sources of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
BSF shot him dead instantly, when he went to the border for bringing Indian cow illegally, according to locals and BGB.
On the other hand, father of the victim said his son was going to visit his maternal aunt’s home at Moynaguri of India.
A flag meeting between BGB and BSF was held at Tin-Bigha corridor from 1pm to 3pm.
Lalmonirhat 15-BGB Battalion Commandant Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Bazlur Rahman Hayati said BGB strongly protested the killing .
Later, BSF led by Kuchbihar 22 BSF Battalion Commandant Ajoy Lutra handed over the body of Hajrat to Officer In-charge of Patgram police station Obani Shanker Kar at Burimari-Changrabandha Zero Point in presence of Lt Col Hayati.
BGB Rangpur Sector Commandant Colonel Zulfiker Ali led BGB on the occasion.
