Prime Minister’s Adviser on Defence Affairs Brigadier General (retd) Dr AKM Shamsul Islam visited the Dhaka campus of Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh (AAUB).
AAUB Vice-Chancellor Air Vice-Marshal M Mustafizur Rahman, BSP, GUP, nswc, afwc, psc, GD(P) and senior officials and teachers of the Dhaka campus were present.
During the visit, the adviser was briefed on the notable achievements of the university in the field of aviation and aerospace and the ongoing research activities.
He visited the various specialized labs established on the Dhaka campus along with the existing facilities for teachers, students and researchers.
He expressed satisfaction with the overall capacity and activities of the university and stressed the need for conducting activities in unity with other domestic institutions working in the field of aviation and aerospace for the purpose of nation-building.
