Four robbers arrested in Bogura with weapons

Police have arrested four members of an inter-district robbery gang while they were allegedly preparing to commit a robbery in Dupchanchia upazila of Bogra. A revolver, locally made weapons, and yaba tablets were also recovered during the operation.

The arrests were made late Thursday night from a house in Choumuhani Tishigari area of the upazila.

The information was disclosed on Friday afternoon during a press briefing held at the Bogra Police Superintendent's Office. Additional Superintendent of Police (Media) Atowar Rahman briefed journalists on the operation.

The arrested have been identified as: Imran Hossain (30), son of late Nazir Uddin, of Pugail village, Rabbi Hasan (21), son of Alamgir Hossain, of Chanpur village, and Abdul Halim (20), son of Abbas Ali, of Panchpir Nolghoria village in Kahaloo upazila and Md. Sohel (28), son of Nawab Ali, of Nowdapara village in Dupchanchia upazila.
