Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) is set to launch its “Eid Special Bus Service” from May 23 ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.
Advance ticket sales for BRTC buses will begin on May 17, according to a press release issued by the corporation’s public relations department on Thursday.
The government has taken the initiative to ensure safe, comfortable and affordable travel for homebound passengers during the Eid-ul-Azha holiday, the release said.
Under the service, passengers will be able to travel to different destinations across the country at affordable fares.
The authorities urged people to avail the BRTC bus service.
