The 7th Raising Day of Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh (AAUB) was celebrated with due dignity on Saturday at its Lalmonirhat campus. Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib Dulu, MP, attended the event as the chief guest and formally inaugurated the day’s programme.
Vice-Chancellor of Aviation and Aerospace University, Bangladesh Air Vice Marshal M Mustafizur Rahman, BSP, GUP, nswc, afwc, psc, GD(P), welcomed the chief guest upon his arrival at the university and later bid him farewell at the end of the programme, said a press release.
As part of the 7th Raising Day celebrations, AAUB unveiled its flagship aviation and aerospace magazine titled “SPACE & BEYOND.” A colourful cultural programme performed by the university's students also added vibrancy to the event.
The programme was attended by Divisional Commissioner of Rangpur, senior government, military and civil officials of Lalmonirhat, dignitaries and all members of the AAUB family.
