Police have filed a case against 159 individuals concerning the protest that blocked the convoy of two advisers in Jaflong, Sylhet.
Zahid, a recently expelled leader of the Jubo Dal, has been named as the prime accused.
The case names nine individuals, while the remaining 150 are unidentified.
The case was filed on Sunday night by Sub-Inspector Obaidullah of the Gowainghat police station.
Officer-in-Charge of Gowainghat police station, Sarkar Tofayel Ahmed, confirmed the matter.
The accused have been charged with forming an unlawful assembly, obstructing movement illegally, creating a blockade, and hindering government officials from performing their duties.
The second accused in the case is Azir Uddin, president of the Union Chhatra Dal. The case also specifically names seven more individuals.
The incident occurred last Saturday when Environmental and Forest Affairs Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan and Mineral Resources Adviser Muhammad Fouzul Kabir Khan faced public outrage during their visit to Jaflong.
