They said that students held a views-exchange meeting at the upazila parishad office ahead of the visits of the central coordinators in Barguna. However, Niloy denied the allegation, saying they only had a heated argument.
In Habiganj, a group of the student movement vandalized the Sadar Upazila Parishad Auditorium following a tense situation centring a views-exchange meeting.
Locals said two groups called for the meeting in two different venues. One group organized the meeting at the auditorium while another group wanted to hold it at Saifur Rahman Town Hall. Later, a group of students went inside the Sadar Upazila Parishad Auditorium and vandalized the furniture there.
