A 12-member delegation of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement spoke with the families and relatives of the six deceased and the injured in Gaibandha.
They reached the district at around 11:30am on Monday,
They then exchanged views with student representatives who had led the movement at the district and upazila levels.
The delegation is also scheduled to have courtesy visits with the family of a student named Deepto, who died due to a lack of oxygen at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, and with district administration officials and leaders of various local political parties.
Lastly, they will attend a student-citizen exchange meeting at Swadhinata Prangan at around 3pm.
The central delegation of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement departed from Ducsu heading towards Rangpur on Sunday night.
On Monday morning, they reached Pirganj and visited the home of martyr Abu Said, meeting his family members and paying homage at his grave.
Following this, they departed for Gaibandha.
