Injamul Haq Suman, a lawyer and Dhaka Metropolitan Jubo Dal member who gained the spotlight for hurling eggs at former prime minister Sheikh Hasina’s adviser Salman F Rahman and former law minister Anisul Haque, was killed in a motorcycle accident on Thursday morning.
The accident occurred in the Nawdoba area near the Padma Bridge in Jajira, Shariatpur.
Another rider, Atik Hasan, 34, was severely injured in the accident.
According to Sheikh Shariful Alam, officer-in-charge of Padma Bridge South Police Station, Suman and Atik were traveling by motorcycle from Dhaka to Sakhhipur in Shariatpur.

After crossing the Padma Bridge, the motorcycle suddenly lost control and crashed into a road railing. Suman died at the scene, and Atik was critically injured.
The entire accident was captured in the live video, the OC added.
Suman's Facebook profile reveals that he had been involved in a controversial act on Wednesday, during which he threw eggs at former law minister Anisul Haque and former prime minister Sheikh Hasina's adviser Salman F Rahman as they were being taken to court.
A local resident, speaking on condition of anonymity, said: “We did not expect such an outcome from the lawyer who was involved in Wednesday’s incident. This is a very sad event. We are deeply saddened by his death. May Allah grant him paradise, Ameen.”
The OC confirmed that the accident occurred when the motorcycle lost control and collided with a railing, leading to Suman’s death and serious injuries to Atik.
