Subsequently, members of the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI) and the Detective Branch (DB) arrived at the scene and recovered the weapons.

In a separate incident, unidentified individuals returned a motorcycle, two burnt motorcycles, and a refrigerator belonging to Shyamnagar police station in front of the Shyamnagar Press Club.
