A group of men have attacked a filling station in Kaliakair, Gazipur, looting Tk7 lakh in cash and assaulting those at the station.
Locals nabbed Saru Mia, 50, and Mamun, 30, in this connection and turned them over to the police following the attract on Monday evening.
Police were preparing to show them arrested and sent them to court on Tuesday afternoon, Kaliakair police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Fazal Mohammad Nasim confirmed.
The owner of Azmat Ali Filling Station, Shafi Uddin Ahmed, his nephew Ratul, and employee Arshad Hossain Monowar were injured in the attack.
They were taken to Kaliakair Upazila Health Complex, where Shafi Uddin Ahmed received first aid and was released.
The other two severely injured individuals were hospitalized for treatment.
