Former inspector general of police Benazir Ahmed's Savanna Eco Resort and Natural Park in Gopalganj district will be reopened on Saturday.
As a result, visitors will be allowed to enter this park from Saturday.
After being closed for 10 days, the park will be opened for public from 8am under the management of the district administrtion.
Visitors will be able to enter the park by paying a gate fee of Tk100 as before.
Various rides in the park will also be opened to entertain the visitors.
However, the cottage will be closed. All the income from this park will be deposited in the state treasury.
On June 4, the authorities temporarily closed the park due to server problems. The park has since been closed. On the night of June 7, the Gopalganj district administration took control of the park by appointing a receiver following the orders of the court.
On the other hand, the ACC formed a committee to oversee the maintenance and management activities of Savanna Eco Resort and Natural Park on Thursday.
This information was revealed in a letter signed by Noor-e-Alam, deputy director (Money Laundering) of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Head Office on Thursday.
Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner Kazi Mahbubul Alam was made convener and Deputy Director of Gopalganj District Office of Anti-Corruption Commission Md Mashiur Rahman was made the member secretary of this six-member committee.
Other members of the committee are Gopalganj Superintendent of Police Al-Beli Afifa, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Debprasad Paul, Public Works Directorate Executive Engineer Kamrul Hasan, Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Party (VDP) Gopalganj District Commandant Fazle Rabbi.
The committee was requested to supervise all the resource maintenance and management activities of the described resorts and parks and to monitor and supervise all the matters including the overall activities of the park by the receivers.
The letter also mentioned that the Committee will regularly inform the ACC of its activities.
Gopalganj district ACC official Mashiur Rahman gave this information.
The official said that the park will be opened from 8am on Saturday under the supervision of the district administration.
In the afternoon, a meeting of the newly formed park monitoring and supervision committee will be held.
