Though she has shown slight improvement, she is not yet out of danger.
The explosion took place on Wednesday.
Initially, there was speculation that the blast might have been caused by accumulated gas in the house. However, it was later determined that the cylinder itself did not explode.
According to police, residents heard an explosion in the flat around 3:00am, just before Sehri.
Upon realizing the flat was on fire, locals rushed in and doused the fire.
The injured were first taken to Dhamrai Upazila Health Complex. Later, they were transferred to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.
Earlier, after the incident on March 27, Station Officer of Dhamrai Fire Service Sohal Rana said that the explosion took place when a family member ignited their stove for cooking for Sehri.
He said that the explosion took place from accumulated gas.
He said that the family members used cylinder gas during the gas crisis though there was a gas connection from Titas.
“It can be confirmed after investigation whether the incident occurred from the cylinder or the gas from the residential gas connection. However, the cylinder did not explode. Goods worth about Tk2lakh were burnt in the fire," said the official.
