State Minister: Over 10,000 teachers will be appointed in next three months

State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Rumana Ali said that more than 10,000 teachers will be appointed within the next three months.

She said this while talking to reporters before attending a two-day international conference titled “Building Smart Bangladesh through Sustainable Development” as the chief guest at Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU) in Tangail on Tuesday afternoon.

Rumana Ali said that the government is working to improve the quality of education and come up with a new curriculum.

She also said: “We have to bring smart policies to build a smart Bangladesh. At the same time, we need to create smart curriculum and smart kids who will become smart citizens in future. We are also working on information technology.”

In the two-day conference, researchers from different universities of India and abroad presented their research on related topics.
