Another tourist who was undergoing treatment after a tourist jeep fell into a hilly gorge in Bandarban’s Ruma upazila, has succumbed to her injuries.
The deceased was Asia Khatun, 67.
She died at Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) around 9:30pm on Tuesday.
Earlier, two female tourists were killed in the accident that took place on January 20.
CMCH ICU Department Head Prof Harun-ur-Rashid said Asia suffered an injury in her rib after the accident.
On January 20, two tourists, including a Dhaka University student, were killed when a tourist jeep plunged 500 feet into a hilly gorge on Ruma-Boga Lake-Keokradong road in Bandarban.
The deceased were identified as Firoza Begum, 53, and Joynab Khatun, 24, a student of Dhaka University. Joynab was a student of DU's criminology department.
