A fire broke out at Star Ceramic Factory in Madhabpur, Habiganj on Sunday morning.
On information, three units of fire service from Shayestaganj and Madhabpur rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control after two hours of frantic efforts.
Shayestaganj Fire Service Station Officer Ariful Islam said: "Fire service rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. The cause of the fire will be determined after the investigation.”
However, the extent of damage could not be known initially.
It is learned that the workers suddenly saw the fire in the moulding design section of the chemical godown of the factory. Within moments, the fire spread in all directions.
