A fire broke out at Alam Market in the Aganagar area of Keraniganj, Dhaka on Wednesday.
The fire broke out on the sixth floor of the market at 8:55am.
Three units of fire service brought the fire under control in half an hour.
Talha Bin Jashim, station officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Media Cell, confirmed the information.
The cause of the fire is yet to be known, he added.
