At least five people, including a child, were killed and 12 people were injured in three separate road crash in Tangail on Friday.
Three people were killed in a collision between a covered van and a pickup van on the Dhaka-Tangail highway in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, a woman was killed on the Bangabandhu Bridge after being rammed by a bus, and a child was killed after a motorcycle hit him in the district's Basail upazila, said Tangail General Hospital police outpost Officer-in-Charge Atikul Mia.
Three of the deceased have been identified as Shah Alam, 40, Shahan Shah, 25, and Nurjahan, 45.
