A tenth-grader was killed in a clash between two teenage gangs in Thakurgaon on Wednesday, say police.
The deceased was identified as Mehedi, 16, a tenth-grader of Thakurgaon Boys High School.
Another, identified as 15-year-old Arman, has been hospitalized with injuries sustained in the clash late on Wednesday, OC Atiqul Islam Atiq of the Thakurgaon police.
Quoting witnesses, he said locals rushed after hearing some teenage boys’ screaming around 8pm.
“The boys, found in a bloody condition, were taken to to hospital, where doctors declared Mehedi dead,” added the police officer.
“The CID and PBI have launched investigations into the attack,” the OC added.
