A farmer died when a train rammed into his power tiller at a level crossing in Baliakandi upazila of Rajbari around 9am on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Siru Molla, 40.
Baliakandi police station Officer-in-Charge Md Tariqquzaman said: “A Rajshahi-bound Tungipara Express train hit the power tiller as it was crossing the tracks. Siru Molla died on the spot.”
The victim’s body was handed over to his family, he added.
