A motorcyclist was killed in a road crash at Nitaishah point in Dinajpur’s Ghoraghat upazila on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Sujan Sarker, 35, son of Atul Sarker of Sonatola upazila in Bogra.
"The accident occurred when a truck hit the motorcycle from behind on the Dhaka-Dinajpur highway. The motorcyclist died on the spot," said Officer-in-Charge Abu Hasan Kabir of Ghoraghat police station.

Sujan was a worker at a shop in Raniganj Bazar of Ghoraghat upazila. He was going towards his workplace when the mishap took place.
As soon as the accident occurred, the driver managed to escape with his truck.
A case has been filed with Ghoraghat police station.
