Three people were killed as a bus rammed a CNG-run auto rickshaw on Habiganj-Sayestaganj road in Sayestaganj upazila on Sunday morning.
The deceased were identified as Rafiq Miah, 35, Ziaul Haque, 36 and Musa Miah, 60.
The accident took place in Kalimnagar area around 7:30am.
Md Nazmul Islam Kamal, officer-in-charge of Sayestaganj police station confirmed the matter.
The OC said that the accident took place when the ‘Modern Paribahan' bus hit the auto-rickshaw when it was going to Habiganj district town, leaving the trio dead on the spot.
The bus plunged into a roadside ditch after the accident.
On information, police recovered the bodies.
