A Dhaka court granted four days remand to Shakib Bin Kamal, head of media and IT department of Jama'atul Ansar Fil Hindal Sharqiya.
Police produced him in court on Tuesday.
The investigating officer applied to remand him for 10 days for proper investigation of the case. After the hearing, the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ashek Imam granted him four-day remand.
Demra police station general registration officer Sub-Inspector Mahmudur Rahman informed the matter in court.
On Monday night, Shakib bin Kamal was detained in Kamalapur School and College area in a case filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act at Demra police station.
