Four CNG-run autorickshaw passengers were killed as a passenger bus hit the vehicle on Dhaka-Rangpur highway in Gobindaganj upazila on Friday afternoon.
The accident took place in Balua Taltola area of the upazila headquarters around 5pm.
Among the victims, two men were identified as Rohan Miah, 20 and Idris Ali, 24.
Aminul Islam, officer-in-charge of Gobindaganj highway police station, said that the accident took place when the bus "Toha Paribahan" hit the autorickshaw from the backside, leaving four passengers critically injured.
Later, they were rushed to a local health complex, where doctors declared them dead.
Police managed to detain the bus driver and seized the bus.
