A 4.1 magnitude earthquake hit Cox's Bazar on Saturday.
The tremor was felt at 4:39pm, Assistant Meteorologist at the Cox's Bazar Meteorological Office Abdur Rahman.
He said the earthquake's epicenter was located at latitude 20.9 degrees and longitude 92.33 degrees in Myanmar, which is approximately 377km south and southeast of Dhaka.
As a result, a tremor of magnitude 4.1 was felt in Cox's Bazar, the official noted.
No information of damage or casualties have been reported so far.
