Police on Monday arrested the one of the top human traffickers of Bangladesh from Cox's Bazar's Teknaf.
The arrestee has been identified as Md Shaker alias Shaker Majhi, 40, reports Bangla Tribune.
Police conducted a raid at his house in the district's Sabrang union late on Monday, and one of the police offers was injured during the drive, said Teknaf Model police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Halim.
“He is considered the top human trafficker. He has multiple drug and human trafficking cases against him,” added the OC.
Shaker has been arrested and jailed over those cases, said OC Halim.
