Novoair has started direct flight between Jessore and Cox's Bazar route.
The flight was inaugurated by Chairman of Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh Air Vice Marshal M Mafidur Rahman at Jessore Airport on Wednesday.
He said: “The long-standing demands of the people of this region have been fulfilled with this service. Such development would further improve tourism. That is why we are developing airports with advanced facilities.”
Managing Director of Novoair Mofizur Rahman, Manager of Jessore Airport Reazul Islam Masoud, high official of government, travel agencies and other organizations, was present.
Dhaka TribuneThe direct flight will depart from Jessore every Wednesday at 11:45am and will arrive in Cox's Bazar at 12:55pm. Similarly, flight will depart from Cox's Bazar every Saturday at 9:55am and arrive in Jessore at 11am.
The cost of one-way fare shall start from Tk5,900.
Novoair is also offering hotel offer for three nights in Cox's Bazar for tourists free of cost.
To enjoy this offer, passengers need to purchase return couple tickets from Jessore to Cox's Bazar to Jessore. This offer includes return tickets for a couple and a free hotel stay for three nights.
The offer available in hotels of Cox's Bazar include Seagull Hotel, Long Beach Hotel, Neeshorgo Hotel and Resort, Windy Terrace Hotel, Grace Cox Smart Hotel, and Hotel Sea Palace.
Novoair currently operates daily flights from Dhaka to Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Saidpur, Jessore, Sylhet, Rajshahi and Kolkata.
