Zorarganj Highway police outpost Officer-in-Charge (OC) Alamgir Hossain and his driver Yeasin Badsha were injured in a attack by unidentified robbers in Narayanganj.
Both the injured are undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
The incident took place in Meghna Toll Plaza area of Dhaka-Chittagong highway on Friday.
In this incident, OC Alamgir Hossain filed a case against four to five unidentified robbers at Sonargaon police station on Saturday night.
According to the source of the case, the OC and his driver were attacked by 4-5 people while going to work from Dhaka by private car. The men pointed pistol and threatened to shoot them.
Kanchpur Highway police outpost OC Nobir Hossain confirmed that the case was handeld by Sonargaon police.
Narayanganj Additional Superintendent of Police Sheikh Billal Hossain said that those involved in this case will be brought under the law soon.
