Chuadanga BRTA official found dead

The body of a Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) official has been recovered from the rest house of the district council in Chuadanga. 

Police recovered the body by breaking open the door to a room in the dak bungalow on Monday. 

The deceased was identified as named Saifullah Bahar, 40. He was working as an inspector at the Chuadanga BRTA office.

According to police, Saifullah used to live at the rest house of the district council. 

In the morning, other officials came looking for at the rest house him as he did not attend office. 

However, they found his room to be locked from the inside. They saw him lying on his bed through the open window. 

At that time, they called the police who arrived at the scene and recovered his body. 

Syed Ainul Huda Chowdhury, assistant director of the BRTA Chuadanga office, said Saifullah mentioned suffering from fever at the office on Sunday, he then took leave and went home.

Chuadanga Superintendent of Police Abdullah Al Mamun said: "The body was recovered and sent to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. The cause of death will be known after getting the report.”
