Police sent Mamun Hossain, husband of the deceased college teacher Khairun Nahar who killed herself, to the court on Monday.
According to the police, the court will issue an order regarding Mamun in the evening.
Sadar Police Station Inspector (Investigation) Abul Kalam Azad and Court Inspector Nazmul Haque confirmed the matter to Bangla Tribune.
“Mamun was arrested after the body was recovered on Sunday morning. After interrogation, he was sent to court on Monday,” said Abul Kalam Azad.

Court Inspector Nazmul Haque said that the court will issue an order in this regard around 5pm.
Police recovered the body of college teacher Khairun Nahar, who married college student Mamun, from a rented house in the Ballaripara area of Natore’s Gurudaspur at 7am on Sunday.

Family members of the deceased said she was under stress after marrying 22-year-old college student Mamun. Police later arrested her husband Mamun in this incident.
Mamun and Nahar got married on December 12 last year. After six months of marriage, when the matter became viral, various discussions and criticisms started on social media.
