Sust to take online classes once a week to save on energy

The Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Sust) authorities have decided to take classes online once a week to save on power and energy.

The deans and faculty heads of the university took the decision in a meeting chaired by VC Farid Uddin Ahmed on Thursday.

Online classes will take place on Thursdays from next week.

The university transport services will also remain suspended on those days.

The university was standing by the public amid the national and global crisis, the Sust VC said.

He requested the heads of the departments and other teachers to ensure that the decision did not cause harm to the students.
