A faction of the Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Chittagong University (CU) unit, who failed to secure posts in the recently announced committee, is continuing their protest for the second day.
They have enforced a blockade on the campus and presented a five-point demand on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, buses and shuttle trains for teachers and employees from the university did not leave the campus due to the blockade. Shuttle train services have also been halted.

“They have insulted the people who worked throughout the year for BCL. We will continue the movement until the new committee does not remove non-students, married people, and drug addicts.”
Classes and exams at the university have been postponed on Monday after the BCL faction’s protest and vandalism.
They demanded a re-formation of the recently announced committee.
Meanwhile, miscreants abducted a shuttle train driver from Chittagong Railway Station on Monday morning.
