At least four people were injured after a truck overturned on the north viaduct of the Padma Bridge at Mawa end around 5pm on Monday.
According to a policeman present at the scene, the truck carrying onion lost its control and overturned due to its reckless speed.

The identities of the injured could not be known immediately. They were rescued and sent to Srinagar Upazila Health Complex.
Bazlur Rahman, traffic inspector (TI) of Munshiganj, said the truck carrying onions was on its way to Dhaka’s Shyambazar from Faridpur.
"After crossing the toll plaza of Mawa end, the truck lost control. Later, it hit the railing of the bridge and overturned," he added.
One of the injured is in serious condition. Arrangements are being made to send him to Dhaka for better treatment.
Police arrested Abdur Razzak, 28, the driver of the jeep in this connection.
