Two people were killed and four others injured when a truck hit a human hauler on Chapainawabganj-Sonamasjid highway at Haripur in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Hanif, 30 and Joydeb Shah, 32.
The accident occurred around 10:30am when the Shibganj-bound truck hit the human hauler, leaving six passengers of the human hauler injured, said Farid Hossain, officer-in-charge of Shibganj police station.
Later, they were taken to sadar hospital where doctors declared two of them dead.
